The national flag of New Zealand consists of a blue field with in the top left the British flag and on the right four red, with white edged stars. The stars are standing for the star sign southern cross. New Zealand has a seperate trade and a seperate flag of war.

In 1869 the flag of New Zealand was introduced, but the British flag stayed the official flag. But in 1902, the flag out 1869, was by parliament chose for national flag of New Zealand.
